The short version. Not Yet is free, it is provided as it is, and it is a tool for slowing yourself down rather than a guarantee that you will. It is not a medical or health service. If it is not for you, uninstall it.
Not Yet is published by ReelCounter ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Not Yet on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not sell it, rent it, redistribute it, or present it as your own.
The app, its name, its logo, its text and its design remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it.
Not Yet puts a deliberate step between you and apps you have chosen to block. It is not a lock and it is not security. The code it asks for is visible inside the app itself, and anybody holding your unlocked phone can switch the blocking off in a few taps. It is designed to slow you down, not to keep anybody out.
It is not a medical device, a therapy, or a health service, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. The figures about time — including the estimate on the home screen and the years shown when you first open the app — are arithmetic over rounded averages and your own answers. They are illustrations, not measurements of your life. If you are worried about your relationship with your phone, or about your mental health, speak to a qualified professional.
Blocking relies on Android features outside our control: the accessibility service staying switched on, and the system allowing the app to run in the background. Some manufacturers stop background apps aggressively, which can make blocking stop working until you exempt Not Yet from battery optimisation. We cannot promise that blocking will always work on every device.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use it at your own risk.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, or for anything that happens because the app failed to block something, blocked something you needed, or stopped working.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing here takes those away.
Not Yet is free and carries no advertising. If a paid version is offered in future, its price and terms will be shown before any purchase, and purchases will be handled by Google Play under Google's terms — including their rules on refunds and on cancelling a subscription from your Google Play account.
Everything the app records stays on your device. See the privacy policy for what that is.
You can stop using Not Yet at any time by uninstalling it, which also deletes everything it has written. We may stop distributing or updating the app at any time; the copy already installed on your phone will keep working as it is.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
